Welcome to my website and thank you for visiting. Here, you can read about local and national issues that affect you, the residents and businesses of Vauxhall – encompassing Waterloo, Clapham, Brixton and everything in between. For too long, people in Vauxhall have been let down by Labour in power locally and nationally. After twelve years of Labour government, we face the problems of high levels of crime, rising unemployment and failing council services – coupled with a litany of broken government promises from the Lisbon Treaty referendum to the supposed end of boom and bust.

I believe that it is time for a new politics of aspiration and integrity. It’s time for change, time for a new government to fix both our economy and our society – a government that believes in sound finance and proper regulation, efficient public services and rewards for those who work in them, a new culture of responsibility and respect for our traditional liberties, safeguarding Britain’s interests and being a force for good in the world.

On this site, you can find out about campaigns to improve the lives of the many thousands of people who live in our part of London . You can also find my contact details if you wish to get in touch about anything. If you want to help, that would be great! Click on 'Get Involved’ to find out about the ways in which you can.

Glyn’s winter leaflet focuses on Conservative plans for reforms to improve the National Health Service. It also highlights Conservative progress and Labour failures in transport policies – including Labour’s new threat to the Freedom Pass. And you can read about how badly the economy performed in 2009 under Labour as well as what the Conservatives would do about it. The newsletter describes plans for a fresh start in education under a Conservative government and reports on what Glyn said when he addressed the Conservative Conference on one of his personal passions – special schools.

Labour pull the plug on swimming in Clapham

Labour Lambeth has closed both Clapham and Streatham Leisure Centres, a move which reduces by 66% the available council-run swimming pools in the borough – only Brixton pool remains. The closures follow over 3 years of prevarication and delay as Labour dithered over refurbishment plans. Lambeth plan to demolish Clapham Pool later this year. Glyn commented: “Only Labour Lambeth would shut down swimming pools in the run up to the 2012 Olympics”.
